  • With Instructors: Student information is shared only with the relevant instructors for educational purposes.
  • Payment Processing: Payment information is processed securely by Stripe.
  • Chat Handling: Olark processes student chats, including names and email addresses, to facilitate communication.

Data Retention

  • Student Data: Retained for one year after the course concludes, then deleted or anonymized.
  • Account Data: Retained until the account is deleted or remains inactive for two years.
  • Payment Records: Retained for seven years to comply with financial regulations.
  • Troubleshooting Data: Retained for no longer than six months unless required for ongoing investigations.
